A Real Birth Story by Vrunda Sadariya: Welcoming My Second Baby Naturally

Hello everyone,

I am Vrunda Sadariya, a proud mother of two beautiful children. I feel truly blessed that both of my deliveries were normal vaginal births.

My due date was 8th October, but my daughter arrived earlier on 28th September. I wanted to share my birth journey in the hope that it encourages and helps other moms-to-be preparing for childbirth.

Like any other day, I was following my regular routine. Around 11:00 AM, I completed one set of 20 Malasana (yoga squats). Shortly afterward, I noticed some bloody discharge, so I immediately stopped exercising.

By around 12:00 PM, I started feeling mild contractions that lasted only a few seconds. I messaged Nikita, who advised me to rest, stay calm, and conserve my energy. I followed her advice, took a nap, and later visited my doctor around 6:00 PM.

The doctor performed an internal examination and reassured me that everything looked normal. I was advised not to worry and to come to the hospital when the contractions became stronger.

After returning home, I had my dinner and, remembering my previous delivery experience, I took a bath and washed my hair.

Around 9:00 PM, my contractions became noticeably stronger. I practiced the breathing exercises that we had learned during our pregnancy sessions, which helped me stay calm and focused.

As the contractions intensified, I called my doctor around 11:00 PM, and we headed to the hospital. We reached around 12:00 AM.

The medical team examined me, checked my cervical dilation, and quickly shifted me to the labour room. Everything happened so fast that I barely had time to ask any questions. They prepared me for delivery, administered local anesthesia, and guided me through the pushing process.

With just 4–5 strong pushes, my baby girl was born.

It was an unforgettable and beautiful experience.

I hope my story gives confidence to every expecting mother. Trust your body, stay positive, follow your doctor’s guidance, and believe in yourself.

Thank you for reading my journey.
